Alanna Barnes
Alanna is an industry-leading vocal coach who has been training voices in the Sutherland Shire since 1997.
She holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts majoring in Vocal Performance, is a member of the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing, and is also a qualified psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist, driven by her passion for helping people overcome performance anxiety.
Alanna is an experienced performer, adjudicator, and mentor. She has worked as a specialist with the NSW Arts Unit, coaching up-and-coming Schools Spectacular Featured Artists, and has trained X-Factor, Australia’s Got Talent, and The Voice Australia performers such as Jordan and Sian Fuller and Nicola De Sensi, as well as internationally recognised names including Ryan Cooper and Tahyna and Cheyenne Tozzi.
Alanna currently performs in various contemporary and tribute bands, jazz groups, and lounge duos, but was originally classically trained under legendary teachers such as Raymond McDonald, Jane Edwards, and Rowena Cowley.
She also studied vocal pedagogy at the University of Illinois under the renowned Ollie Watts Davis. Alanna has extensive experience in musical theatre, jazz, rock, pop, and choral performance, and has toured internationally in the United States.
Elizabeth Bridges
Lizzie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the studio.
She holds a Professional Performers Diploma from the Guild Music Education Board and has been teaching singing since 2015.
Lizzie also has experience in adjudication and musical direction, and she holds a Certificate of Performance in Drama (CSPA) from the Australian Music Examinations Board.
Lizzie is currently completing her Master’s in Speech Pathology and has a particular passion for musical theatre.
She has previously been a featured performer with CASPA and has toured internationally with them.
Lizzie has also performed at both the Sydney and Adelaide Fringe Festivals and has extensive performance experience in musical theatre.
